The area is based on 16k maps (diffuse, glossiness, bump, 32-bit displacement), therefore it is suitable for high-resolution close-ups. It contains various geological features and layers.
The 16k displacement map allows generating details corresponding to over 250 million poly. The 131k poly non-renderable mesh was placed in the scene to help with the setup (during render time it's automatically substituted for the detailed displaced object).
The area of 10km x 10km is covered in the scene. The scene is set in 3ds max 2016 and Corona Renderer but since it's based on displacement, it could be easily configured in most of the available 3d software.
